Kids in the Kitchen In-Person
Kids in grades K-8 join our cooking programs for kids and discover the joy of cooking! Learn how to make delicious and healthy meals while having fun in the kitchen. From simple snacks to tasty treats, you'll become a little chef in no time. Get ready to mix, measure, and munch your way through our exciting cooking adventures! Please note that recipes may bring up allergy concerns. The necessary ingredients are listed next to each recipe title, so please read through them to ensure your child's safety. These programs are free and all materials will be supplied by the library. Registration is required for this event to ensure we have enough supplies. You can register by filling out the form below. If you need registration assistance, please call the library at (330)332-0042. The monthly dishes and their ingredients are listed below:
12/8 - Sugar Cookies – Unsalted butter, granulated sugar, all-purpose flour, vanilla extract, and sprinkles
1/12 - PB&J Sushi Rolls – Strawberry jam or grape jelly, peanut butter or sun butter, and white bread.
2/9 - Sausage and Egg Taquitos – Sausage links, eggs, salt, pepper, cheddar cheese, flour tortillas, pepper, tomato, green onions, and cooking spray.
