Necessity is the Mother of Invention: America 250

Necessity is the Mother of Invention: America 250 In-Person

Everyday inventions along with the household names and innovative people who came up with them are the focus of this program. Dave Gates with the Summit County Historical Society delivers this informative and interesting program. Toasters, Life Saver Candy, Zippers, the "dreaded" TV remote and paper bags are just a few of the "take for granted" items that will be discussed.

Join us each month for an exciting peek into events that have shaped America as we know it today.
