Make a Scarecrow at SPL for Quakerfest! In-Person
Come to the Salem Public Library Patio to make a scarecrow!
All materials for scarecrow construction will be provided, but if you have your own items to display, please bring them! Those who enter a scarecrow or create one will be entered into a contest to win one of three prizes from the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce.
Scarecrows will be left up for the entire weekend of Quakerfest and can be collected from the library lawn so you can display your creation at home!
Registration is required for this free, family-friendly event!
Scarecrows must be picked up by the end of the day on Saturday, October 18, 2025. Any remaining scarecrows will be deconstructed and unavailable after that date.
