Adult Intensive Cooking Program: The Science of Leavening

Adult Intensive Cooking Program: The Science of Leavening In-Person

Carnegie's Kitchen is offering deep-dive cooking programs to increase your comfort level in the kitchen. These special programs are designed for patrons ages 16+ who are comfortable in a kitchen and interested in taking their culinary skills to the next level.   Building on our monthly programs, these sessions provide a deep dive into the science of cooking, something that is not possible in our monthly program series.

Upon completion of each session, patrons will explain the principles behind the scientific process explored, follow the recipe, and duplicate the process on their own.

On the Menu:  Apple Pie Muffins, Pancakes, Chocolate Chip & Sunflower Seed Cookies

This program is free of cost and open to all.  Our Carnegie's Kitchen events are extremely popular.  Advanced registration is required and may be completed using the form below.  If you require assistance with registration, please call the library's main number, 330.332.0042.

Please expect a phone call five days before the event to confirm your attendance and provide details regarding what type(s) of containers you should bring with you.  If you are concerned about food allergies, please contact Adult and YA Programming Manager, Angela Vaughn, at the library via phone 330.332.0042
